Big Wednesday Jackpot And Trip To New York
Up For Grabs Next Week

Big Wednesday has jackpotted with $500,000 cash added to the prize line-up - and with the Trump Up Your Life promotion being drawn next week too, it's going to be very exciting, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

"With over $4 million in prizes up for grabs with the Big Wednesday jackpot, and a luxury holiday to New York for a winner and three friends that must be won, it's definitely worth buying a ticket for next week's draw," says Mr McLeay.

At the next draw on Wednesday 17 March 2010, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:

- $2.5 million; plus
- an Audi R8; plus
- a Porsche Cayenne; plus
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum card; plus
- $250,000 cash towards luxury travel; plus
- a Four Winns V258 boat; plus
- a $750,000 cash prize towards a bach.

While the top prize was not struck, a lucky player in Taupo has won $25,000 in Big Wednesday's Second Chance draw.

The winning ticket was sold at Paetiki Lotto, Magazines & Post and the serial number is 654-12440329.

Every ticket bought for the Big Wednesday draw was entered in the Second Chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection did not match the coin toss in the draw, the ticket holder has won $25,000.

"Anyone who bought their ticket at this winning retailer should check it immediately," says Mr McLeay.

There were a total of 54,171 winners in this week's draw.
